Supporting Struggling Readers using Sound Discovery®
A synthetic phonics course to teach reading, spelling and handwriting

Course outline:
  • Step-by-step synthetic phonics [DfE Choosing a phonics teaching programme]
  • Background knowledge to phonological awareness within the Reading Framework
  • Building essential skills for reading and spelling using Sound Discovery
  • Demonstration and workshop practice of a Snappy Lesson™
  • Delegate file with assessments and lesson guidance

Who is it for?

SENCOs, Literacy Coordinators, Teachers, Teaching Assistants from primary, secondary and specialist schools.

For best outcomes we recommend that a SENCO/Literacy Coordinator attends with Teaching Assistants chosen to set up and deliver the programme.

Cost £75 per delegate. 
10% discount for schools with EPSS Contract OR three + delegates.
