We’re sending a quick reminder to all schools whose traded contracts are due to end at the end of this term (March 31st 2025), that referrals need to be with us by Friday 14th February 2025. Whilst we always try our best, we can’t guarantee that work commissioned after this date can be picked up in the time available, and this time may therefore be lost. Please be aware, that we will be unable to ‘carry-over’ any EPSS days, and days left unused by March 31st will unfortunately be lost.
It is also important to note that schools with contracts due to end this term, will not be able to ‘top-up’ their contracts (i.e. purchase more time) after this February deadline. All top-up requests made before this cut-off date will need to be considered on a case-by-case basis, and will only be picked up as our team capacity allows it. Please discuss with your coordinating EPSS professionals in the first instance.
We’re aware that in the staged transition from EPSS trading to the new SEND and Inclusion Support Model, maintained schools in certain zones may be concerned that EPSS support will be unavailable, at least until the new model is fully rolled out in their zone. For info, a contingency pot of time has been set aside to ensure EPSS support remains available in these situations, to avoid any break in provision during the summer term.
