NHS East of England regional children and young people mental health event: innovation in education

Event information

Promoting young people’s well-being in schools is a regional priority in the East of England. A recent Collaborations for Leadership in Applied Health Research and Care (CLAHRC) study, working with the Clinical Network, identified that professionals and children, young people and families within the East of England believe that enhancing school culture and promoting resilience in the school setting should be a priority for our region. This regional priority also aligns with the Five Year Forward View for Mental Health.

How to best enhance school culture to promote emotional wellbeing? This event will focus on innovation within the education sector regarding the promotion and prevention of mental health and emotional wellbeing for children and young people and interventions/getting help in the East of England. We will be showcasing examples of best practice and considering the perspectives of the health system, education system and children, young people and families.
