Description
Would cover aspects of promoting positive behaviour at a whole school, classroom and individual level, what affects how we interpret and respond to children’s behaviour, some causes of challenging behaviour, some reference to attachment theory and practical strategies and resources to use in the classroom.
Outcomes
To help teachers and teaching assistants to develop confidence and skills when faced with children with challenging behaviour and to equip them with some practical strategies which can be used in the classroom.
Audience
Teachers and teaching assistants working in primary school classrooms.
Cost: £50
Schools with an EPSS contract or subscription pay £40 for a place.
